Our Mission at The Activity Academy
At The Activity Academy, we provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children during the school holidays. Our summer camp at Echells Primary School is packed with sports, crafts, and games - giving kids the chance to try new activities, make friends, and most importantly have fun!
We are passionate about working with the local community and offering a space where children can enjoy themselves and stay active
Our Staff
Niamh Craik
Niamh is one of our Team Leaders. She is from Aberdeen and last year she completed her HNC in Dance and Performing Arts. She is currently pursuing a degree in events management at LJMU in liverpool. She is extremely experienced when it comes to working with children having taught dance for 6 years to children ages 4 and up, and she has also worked at a sports camp for the last 3 years. Niamh is a qualified first-aider and has completed her sports leadership qualification. She holds an advanced higher in PE and has completed multiple training courses such as holding a certificate in Child Well-being and Protection in Sport with Sport Scotland. Niamh is also PVG and DBS checked. She looks forward to starting a new journey with the Activity Academy!
Cameron Kerr
Cameron Kerr is one of our team leaders. Having been involved in Taekwondo from the age of six, Cameron has achieved some extremely impressive things. He has competed worldwide and became the national champion in the sport a few years ago. He was on the GB youth team and has since become a coach at one of the 5 selected talent clubs in the UK, recently being asked to go on a coaching day with British Taekwondo. Along side his Taekwondo coaching, Cameron works at a local play centre where he is a children's entertainer and helps to ensure the children's safety when they are there. Cameron is also First Aid qualified and Enhanced DBS checked.
